UNISMACK S.A., a fast-growing, 100% export-oriented company developing and producing innovative snack products, is recruiting a self-motivated individual to join our team as Head of the Maintenance Department.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background and experience in troubleshooting industrial equipment. They should also be capable of coordinating and leading a team of technicians to ensure the continuous operation of the factory. Experience in the food industry is a significant advantage but not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, diagnose, and repair faults in mechanical and electrical equipment (e.g., tunnel ovens, packaging machines, pneumatic and hydraulic systems).
• Ensure continuous operation of equipment, meeting operational requirements.
• Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs through an EIMS system.
• Update and continuously optimize maintenance history to prevent faults.
• Guide the maintenance team to achieve daily production and maintenance goals.
• Coordinate technicians and provide support on complex or critical technical issues.
• Collaborate with the production department to ensure smooth and efficient equipment operation.
• Identify improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Create and implement maintenance procedures to ensure consistent and effective practices.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Preferred specialisations: automation systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, industrial equipment maintenance.
• Excellent ability to diagnose and repair technical faults with precision and efficiency.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Experience in the food industry or related industrial sectors (preferred).
• Participation in seminars or training related to:
  • PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers)
  • SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition)
